Can anyone confirm which version of "Stay" is on the cassette single? The only mix I ever heard on the radio (and the one my station played) is called the "Extended Mix-Radio Edit" and is quite different from the LP version found on most CDs.

my commercial cassingle issued as emi/1st ave 58113 contains the below tracks
1-stay (3:53 listed; 3:55 actual)
2-don't say goodbye (4:16 listed; 4:16 actual)
the cassingle version and the full length lp/cd versions are identical, as far as i can discern.

A decade later... While I can say for certain which version my old top 40 station played, does anyone else recall the mix played in other markets?

While this was over 27 years ago, Aaron, I am quite
certain that I heard both the "LP version" and the
"Extended Mix - Radio Edit" on my local radio station,
98 WGRD. However, I am not certain, but I may have been
hearing the "Extended Mix - Radio Edit" on Shadoe
Stevens' American Top 40 and the "LP version" during
regular programming on the station or vice-versa.

The AC Mix off the promo CD single was definitely aired
around here. It sounds fairly close to the LP version,
but the intro was edited differently, I believe. Do you
own this promo in your collection, Aaron?
