Buried in another thread is a discussion of the song "Multiplication" by Bobby Darin. Santi Paradoa pointed out that there are two versions of this song on cd - one that ends cold with the music and one that ends with Bobby saying "they better" after the cold musical ending. Indeed this is correct and here is my strange summary of the two different endings.
Mono LP "Twist With Bobby Darin" ends cold
Stereo LP "Twist With Bobby Darin" ends with "they better"
dj 45 ends with "they better"
Who can complete the puzzle by filling in the ending found on the commercial 45 of "Multiplication" (Atco 6214)?

Can't help with the commercial 45, but the digital version of Twist With Bobby Darin on Rhapsody is mono and also ends cold.
Is this a possibility that mono and stereo versions are different takes?

Pat, my Atco 6214 commercial 45 copy ends with "they better."

i just A/B'ed the commercial 45 versus the cdr version i
have which is in stereo and i do not hear any mix
differences at all.....once i convert the stereo file to
mono and eq/brighten it up, it sounds spot on.....in
addition...the 45 faces lists the run time as 2:18 but
actually runs 2:15...this should eb added to the db...
