anyone know if the songs "head over feet" and "uninvited" by alanis morissttee have ever been issued on promo cd singles..........i've never seen them........

When we played these songs on the air years ago, we played them from the full length LPs...which doesn't mean a promo single doesn't exist, but they weren't serviced to us. We did have promo singles for "You Oughta Know" and "Hand In My Pocket" and "You Learn."

I could never find a promo version of "Uninvited" so I ended up getting the "City of Angels" soundtrack. If I recall, the reason I couldn't find a promo single of "Uninvited" is because it doesn't exist and was not promoted to radio. Alanis was so hot at the time that radio stations just started playing it off the soundtrack, and then every station had to play it -- and as I recall, it went top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 airplay chart -- amazing considering that a single was never even promoted to radio!
