chrismas' peaked at number 21 in 1955 and my top forty book

been able to locate a 7" version with that catalog
number....i've seen 78's with that number but no 7"....the
7" was released as columbia ja 263.....question i have
is.....was there ever a 7" release with the catalog number
40576 or was it only released as a 78?....

Ed, we have a commercial 45 with the 40576 label number. The J4-263 number is the special Children's Series 45.

Here's more proof on YouTube. You can see 40576 on the label:

i finally found the vinyl 45 for the song '(i'm gettin')
nuttin' for christmas by ricky zahnd & the blue jeaners
issued as columbia 40576 and the 45 does NOT list a run
time on the label but actually runs 2:41...i found the song
on the cd 'silly christmas songs and other christmas
classics' issued as sony special products 27533.....you'll
need to pitch up that cd as it runs 2:43 in length...
