A UK label recently reissued Dionne's 1979 self-titled album on CD - with 2 bonus cuts, one of which is "After You" (single version). Does anyone know if this 45 has a different mix, is just an edit, or just an early fade?

I don't own the original 45 but the only difference in the two versions on
the BBR reissue is an early fade. CD timing for LP version is 4:03 and
single edit 3:48.

Wow, a 15 second early fade hardly seems like a reason to include it as a bonus cut!

The remastered Heartbreaker CD (2012) was advertised to have the single version of the Top 40 song Heartbreaker but the CD in fact has no bonus songs. I'd verify bonus songs on this CD before I bought it.

It turns out the single version is no different than the album version. Once BBR realized it, they pulled it from the CD before release.
Having worked on 10 Dionne Warwick reissues (some of which are out, some of which are planned to come out in the future - hopefully), I can tell you sometimes Sony will come across a tape in the vault that says "Single version", getting everyone's hopes up that there's actually a single version, but it turns out it's just the master that was used as the single and is identical to the album version. I believe that's the case with "Heartbreaker" though I've never worked with BBR, and that was 2012 before I really got very involved with any Sony projects.
