I am comparing my promo 45 with the version on Varese's "The Best Of," and I've discovered that the "Best Of" version is an alternate. The differences aren't subtle. That's a surprise, since Varese usually gets it right. Assuming the commercial copy is the same as the promo, the DB should be changed to "alt vers." As far as I can tell, the other hits on that CD are correct. Time is 2:30

Mostly in the vocals. Notes held longer/shorter/delayed, etc. If you can listen with one ear on CD left and the other ear vinyl right, it's real obvious.
