i know the db only contains the 3:07 (missing 0:24 coda)
version.....but the question i have is there is one import
cd that allmusic.com states has a 3:35 version.....

Box Selection: Their 8 RAK Albums 1974-1983

does anyone own this cd?...and can they confirm that the
correct, longer 3:35 45 version is on it??

Hi Ed - what appears to be the correct single length version also appears on their LP/CD "Cicero Park", which is also available outside of the box set. The mp3 is available on Amazon, but I know you want the wav file. :)

A deluxe 2-CD edition of Cicero Park was issued by the U.K. label 7T's Records in 2009 - although sadly, it's apparently already out-of-print. Page for it on Discogs: Hot Chocolate - "Cicero Park" 2-CD edition. I don't have this particular CD myself (although I've had the U.S. edition on cassette for over 20 years), but it should have the correct version of "Disco Queen" that you're looking for. Another great band that should've done much better here in the States...

the box selection cd set and it is identical to the vinyl
45 version.....

There is a budget 2017 CD release that includes the longer version with the coda at the end. It's in Pat's database, but in case you missed it, it's a ten track Parlophone/Rhino disc titled An Introduction To Hot Chocolate. This budget series is similar to those Rhino/Flashback releases from a couple of decades ago (probably find them in the $5 section). The series includes other discs on the Drifters, Ray Charles, the Blues Brothers, Ben E. King, Keith Sweat, Jethro Tull, Al Stewart, etc.
