my commercial 45 for the jim reeves song 'am i losing you'
issued as rca victor 47-7800 lists the run time on the
label as 2:42 but actually runs 2:36 and is identical to
the version i have on cdr....i don't know what cd it's
dubbed from, but this is in complete contradiction to the
db info....the rca victor 45 47-7800, according to my top
40 book was issued in 1960, but the db claims the 1960
release runs only 2:16 and the 1957 country & western
release runs 2:42....very puzzling....can anyone help get
to the bottom of this as to what is what?

The Jim Reeves entries have been corrected in the data base to reflect the correct versions as there are actually 3 different versions of this song that appear on vinyl.

pat thanks for correcting, you should probably note that
the 1960 rca victor
7800 vinyl 45 run time is 2:36 while the label states
2:42....
