jim was kind enough to send me a file of the song from
the ace import cd titled 'Dot Records Cover to
Cover...Hit Upon Hit' and it runs 2:25....there is a
problem with this version....it's missing the bass vocal
overdubs 'oh baby' at the 0:35, 0:38, 0:41, 1:06, 1:09,
1:11, 2:08, 2:10 and 2:13 point of the song.....question
is....do any of the import cd have the correct vinyl 45
version with the correct vocal overdubs?.....i've listed
the imports cd below....

Rhapsody has a collection called 1957 Hit Songs, Vol.
6
that have the bass vocal overdubs. Will send you a
file for your review.

john was nice enough to send me a file of the song for my
review from the rhapsody collection titled '1957 hit
songs, vol 6' which i am happy to report IS the correct 45
version with the 'oh baby' bass vocal overdubs at the
correct locations....the vinyl 45 has a listed run time of
2:24 on the label but actually runs 2:22 and is slightly
sped up versus the cd file he sent.....ironically enough
the song peaked in february 1958!!.......thanks john!!
