Puzzled about this one.
The 4-CD box 25 Years The Chain (1992) includes the LP version. The same analog transfer is used on Time-Life's 2-CD Singers And Songwriters Vol. 12 1975-1979 (2001; differently EQ'd digital clone) and swaitek's 50-CD The A List Disc 4 (1994, no NR).
The 2-CD Very Best Of (2002) includes the 45 version.
The 45 mix runs about 1.5% faster than the LP, and extends out a little past the LP version fade.
Are those the only differences between the LP and 45? Just a speed and length difference?
