Found a promo 45 posted on YouTube, albeit in mono, but
one easy edit and you have the 45 version.
Using a source file from You Can Tune A Piano, But
You Can't Tuna Fish:
Keep 00:00 to 55.649
Remove from 55.649 to 1:51.519 from the word fly to the
word fly.
Keep 1:51.519 to the end.
Your edit runs 2:45.

Does The Hits CD version run too fast to use as a source, or is the
speed correct?

Sorry, I didn't realize until now you attached the file in your E-mail to me.
The answer is no. The Hits CD version runs faster than the You Can Tune A Piano. . . CD version. So you could use it as a source
but would have to slow it down about a half step (about 2%).
