The database says the unplugged version runs 2:46, but online on iTunes etc., the run
time is listed is 3:37, including tracking into the next selection.
Can anyone describe the edit(s) needed for the proper length/45 version?

my promo cd single for the nirvana song 'about a girl'
issued as dgc pro-cd-4688-a contains only one track which
runs 3:12 but has a listed run time on the rear insert and
cd's face of 3:26..john, i just you a file for your
review...

Thank you, Ed for the file.
From his promo CD, the song quickly fades in at the point where
he says "This is off our first record..." and fades from
3:05-3:12.
Not sure if the song was ever released on a commercial
CD single.
