Is anyone aware of a radio edit for "Something To Believe In" by Poison? I just discovered a couple Casey's Top 40 shows from 1990, in which the song was cut to about 4:35, jumping from the first verse to the second chorus.

At nearly 5.5 minutes, this single would have been a candidate for a radio edit, but I can't find any evidence that Capitol issued anything, so I wonder if Casey pulled out the razor blade himself. Anyone remember more?

Well, maybe on a German 45 according to 45cat. But even on
the flip where it isn't labeled "(radio edit)" time still
is listed at 3:58. So who knows...

I realize I didn't answer your question, but I thought I'd
share my limited research.

I'd have to check the TM Century database to find if this was issued on a HitDisc or GoldDisc or maybe both. I thought Casey's was a user of TM Century stock
back then. It may be they either obtained one from, who knows where, or made one themselves. As Aaron likes to point out often, they weren't as reliable as
stations would have liked for authenticity, but at least the content was mostly there.

I happened to remember I had a spreadsheet of the TM
Century library listings and it only lists the 5:27 length.
No shorter radio edit or version in their library.
