the song "you are my starship" by norman connors issued as buddah 542 states the run time on the 45's face as 4:23 but actually runs 4:29 and is identical to all the 4:29 versions on cd's in the db........this note should be added to the db........edtop40

My specialty is versions appearing on Top 40 Promo 45s that are different, time-wise, from its stock counterpart (either longer or shorter.) For others of you on the Board similarly concerned (or just curious,) the DJ 45 on "You Are My Sharship" has the EdTop40 run time on the stereo side, and a (3:21) mono short version on the other. Happened to be a hit in my area - the station played the short version exclusively in '76.

The subject of this song came up tonight. Even though it is available on one listed CD in the database, the DJ short version is very easy to recreate.
Keep 0:00-1:43.218
Delete 1:43.218-2:50.376
Keep 2:50.376-the end
Your finished edit will run 3:21.
