The new Fleetwood Mac cd "50 Years - Don't Stop" lists the song Save Me as the 45 version. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the difference between the 45 version and LP version might be for this song?

The single version - called "Fade" on original singles and promos - fades out about 5 seconds earlier than the LP version.

That would be called 45 length in my jargon.

Yeah, this one always puzzled me. Especially that the promotional CD single has BOTH the Fade and LP versions on it and the early fade makes such a minimal difference in length!
