I purchased the Reflections Greatest Hits by Carly Simon and all the songs
except for HAVEN'T GOT TIME FOR THE PAIN is the 45 version. I was looking
in the database to see which CDs have the 45 version of the song and one of
them is the Greatest Hits but when I checked the track listing it shows the
album version time of 3:54 instead of the 3:37 version. Was it a misprint on the
run time for it?

I just checked my copy of the Best Of on Elektra CD and it has the 45 version. I also checked the Reflections CD but it has the longer LP version.

Thanks...I bought the Reflections CD on amazon and received a digital copy as
well with the purchase. Off to get single on Best of....

There is an edit towards the end of the song on the single.
The "ooh, the pain is over" is cut out.

There are also different "vamp" adlibbed vocals at the end (right before the orchestra/percussion extro…).
The 45 cannot be created from the LP version.

same as the one labeled "radio version" on the promo cd?
