Does anyone know the correct time and version of the single by Martin Garrix titled Animals from 2014 that hit the top 40? There is a version that runs 5:03 I believe to be the album version.
I have one version that runs 3:28 running time that appears to be a radio edit and another version that runs the 2:45 running time that appears to come from Gold Skies EP and does not match any known edit on discogs...
Are both shorter edits of the 5:03 and if so, which one is the correct edit to go with that was on the radio?
And a 3:33 US edit that appears to match my 3:28 with 5 seconds of silence

Note: Even more confusing there is a 2:56 German Edit!

My copy from TM's PrimeCuts runs 3:31. I have it on CD but
I believe Aaron determined they were from lossy files.

My recollection is that while this song was a hit the only digital single
that was available was the explicit version running 5:03. (My iTunes file
says that I purchased it on January 4, 2014.) The clean “radio edit” is
on the November 2013 Mainstream Radio disc in the Promo Only
series. I timed it at 2:54. I see that this version is now also available on
iTunes as a digital single, but I am almost positive that it was not
available while this song was a hit (or else I would have bought it
instead of the longer explicit version).

I think as pointed out the 3:31 is the correct radio edit. However the 2:54 that Paul C mentions is a shorter edit. Guess I will have to get the 2:54. The 2:45 seems out of place, so its clearly not a correct edit.
Ah the 2010's.....
