A top 20 hit in the UK, "Love Removal Machine" by The Cult was ranked #74 on VH1's "Best Hard Rock Songs of All Time" (for whatever that is worth). The source album, "Electric," hit #38 on the Billboard Top 200 Album charts.

To turn the 4:17 LP version into the 3:14 7" radio edit, it's one easy edit on the beat between 2:11 and 3:14.

Yes, thanks Gene! Easy edit and an 'oh wow' addition to my
library.

I'll chime in too, thanks Gene! I have all their "hits"
(from AOR) between '84 - '92 in my alternative folder in
LP versions. "Fire Woman" from '89 was a biggie.
It will be nice to add this edit!

Great band. Their hey-day also reminds me of Smithereens
and The Alarm. So many great songs.

I love The Alarm! I have that 2000 box set of all their
albums in addition to bonus tracks/rarities. A lot of
great material!
