Wonder if anyone can help me with this - I know, not Top 40, but where I
can post such a question is limited.
A while back, I worked on a "who did it first..." project, where I amassed a
playlist of over 1,400 songs. Tracking down the originals took three
websites, YouTube dubs and some assumptions. "Nobody But Me" came
from the Rhino CD "The Isley Brothers Story - Volume 1: Rockin' Soul
(1959-68)" and is stereo. While tracking down the mono of same, I came
across another recording of the song. Both sound like they could be the
original Wand 45 (there is no parent LP for the song). YouTube has versions
of BOTH songs in both stereo and mono.
Does anyone have a Wand 45 that could identify the true 45 version, as well
as info on the "other"? I know, another toughie.
