Both sides of my promo 45 continue to indicate (Parts 1 & 2) on it, despite this promo being more than a minute shorter than the stock 45 version. Both sides have a listed run time of (4:32). The actual time is clearly one second shorter, for both sides.

The promo version was indeed an edit, since the stock 45 was the same running time(5:45) as what was on the LP and most compilations. That promo edit has appeared on CD once. It was released on the "Ultimate Isleys Brothers" CD released in 2000. It is still in print. The running time listed is 4:31.
