According to the database, CD appearances containing Rufus Thomas' "Walking the Dog" have a run time ranging from 2:27 to 2:34. This is a fairly wide range, so I'm wondering if here is a case where perhaps the LP length and 45 length may differ slightly?

Todd: My 1963 Stax 45 has a listed time of (2:30), but an actual time of (2:27).

Thank you, Jim and Pat! Looks like the 45 and LP times are roughly the same and fall right in the middle of the run time ranges on CD. Perhaps a note should at least be made in the database for the actual and printed 45 run times since they differ by :03, according to Jim's findings. I guess it wouldn't hurt to list the stated and actual LP run times too, but of course this is all entirely up to Pat.
