the cassingle issued as atlantic 87805 contains a non-
described version which is an edit of the full 6:20 cd/lp
version and it runs 4:31..........this should be noted in
the db....

I have a promo CD single for Rude Boys' "Written All over Your Face" on Atlantic PRCD 3615-2 with the following track listing and actual run times:
1) Radio Edit - 4:31 (not 4:10 as printed on the label)
2) Long Version - 6:13 (same as printed label time)
The "Radio Edit" is identical to the commercial single version.
The "Long Version" is actually the album version but sped up, thus fully accounting for the :07 length difference between the two. For what it's worth, the single version matches the faster pitch of the 6:13 DJ "Long Version".

Ha - at first reading, this didn't appear to make sense on at least TWO levels, when factoring in edtop40's original post above from 2006. So I checked the database. Seems ed made a typo in that first post; the cd/lp version actually runs 6:20, not 6:02...
