Hi
Very lost hit here.
The 45 of this was completely remixed and edited from the Lp version. The guitars are mixed much hotter of the 45.

I got rid of the 45 years ago because it was previously owned by someone with a bad stylus, and very distorted.
A friend sent me an mp3 of the 45 dub, also very poor quality, but i used it for reference to edit the LP from the CD. You can't recreate the remix, but at least the edit. I widened the channels and compressed it to bring out the guitars more.
My question is does anyone have the 45, and can confirm that it is pitched much slower than the LP version?
That's how this mp3 is and just wanted to be sure its on the 45 that way. The mp3 runs 3:15.
Thanks for any info, if possible...

-MM

I have both a commercial and a promo 45 for this. Both my commercial 45 and the short side of my promo 45, which specify "edit", have a listed time of (3:15), but an actual time of (3:12). As correctly indicated earlier in this thread, this "edit" version states "Remixed by Rob Freeman", and cannot be recreated from the LP version. However, the "long" side of my promo 45 IS the same version that is on my Import CD copy of "Wrap Your Arms Around Me". This side of my promo 45 has a listed time of (4:20) and an actual time of (4:21).

Has anyone determined if the single mix of this song is available on any import CDs?

I did a search online for over an hour back when this thread was created, and I came up with nothing but the LP version.
