Pat:
You correctly note in the database that promo CD single copies of Bryan Adams' "Can't Stop This Thing We Started" contains the "LP Version" running 4:25 and the "Single Radio Version" running 4:10. It might also be worth noting that the "Single Radio Version" is simply an early fade of the 45 and LP length. Also, Ed has confirmed for me that his cassette single copy runs 4:29 (the single is identical to the LP version).

I can confirm that the "Radio Edit" is indeed an early fade. My version on Top Hits USA RH10 runs about 4:06.
Based on the LP version on Bryan Adams's So Far So Good (runs 4:27, doesn't fully fade out and actually tracks into next selection), the "Radio Edit" is just a 16-beat fade from 3:57.9 to 4:06.4.
