I bought the cd by Full Force called "Still Standing". It has the 45 version of "I Wonder If I Take you Home" performed by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force that clocks in at 3:56. It is on the TVT label and it's number is TVT2250-2.

Is there a shorter edit of this song? Reason why I ask is there is a version that runs (3:21) on a Time Life double CD that is not in the database at this time (Uptown Saturday Night - Automatic, Time-Life 22054). Perhaps a DJ edit.

There's a version running about 3:21 on an old UK 5-CD box
100 Dance Hits Of The '80s (Connoisseur Collection,
1990). It's obviously not the 45 edit, but I'm not 100%
sure where it came from. To my ears, it sounds like the
beginning and the end of the LP version were spliced
together.

There's a 3:22 Edit on the UK CD single of "Little Jackie Wants to Be A Star" (whether or not that is the correct time is up for debate, but that is what is listed on the sleeve)-so, if it's accurate, it is an official edit.

I think it might be the UK 7" version of this song. There's a YouTube vid of them performing the track on UK Soul Train that clocks in at 3:20.
