One of my best friends, a 60s expert about to publish a book on the subject sponsored by the Sundazed label, just obtained from a fellow collector buddy the original songwriter demo for this (featuring TUBA on the intro - I just heard it - fortunately, WF & The MBs left it off theirs!) However, the guy made an e-mail comment probably worthy of some further investigation. He said, "Ever notice that the US 45 versions for 'Game Of Love' have all this echo, making it sound SO much bigger, that we don't hear on CD versions of it today?" My friend has gone to the Library Of Congress several times to fact-check his book's data - an absolute stickler for accuracy. Since he seems to respect the opinion of the former-demo-owner, "Clark from Nebraska", (who's name he's brought up before to me), I just thought I'd alert the Board to this possibility - I have the original 45, if needed.
