I was wondering if anyone could please furnish some 45 and/or LP run time information for the following Top 40 hits by Peggy Scott & JoJo Benson because a wide range of run times exist on CD for each:
Lover's Holiday - CD run times range from 2:36 to 2:49.
Pickin' Wild Mountain Berries - CD run times range from 2:38 to 2:50.
Soul Shake - CD run times range from 2:41 to 2:46.
Do any or all of the above songs have different 45 and LP lengths that should perhaps be reported in the database?

Todd, my master book says I do own a commercial 45 for "Lover's Holiday", but it is not in its proper place at the moment - perhaps good-hearted Paul Haney can come to our combined rescue for that one. Here's the scoop on the other two, from my commercial 45s:
-Pickin' Wild Mountain Berries--listed time (2:50); actual time (2:53), which unfortunately puts it outside the database's current (2:38-2:50) CD time ranges.
-Soulshake--listed time (2:24); actual time (2:22), which puts all database CDs between :19 and :24 seconds longer than the actual 45 length.

I have posted some LP running times for these 3 songs in the database. Todd the times in the database for Soul Shake are completely different than what you are reporting above - are you sure you mean Soul Shake?

Pat, simply for database bookkeeping purposes, my commercial 45 shows the title as "Soulshake", not "Soul Shake."

Pat:
Apprarently, I must have been looking at some other song entry in the database when I reported the CD run time range for "Soulshake". Not sure how it happened, but somehow I recorded the wrong run times. Sorry.
