My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (3:59), but an actual time of (4:07).

Might be nitpicking here, but compared the 45 version on Sound Of The Seventies: 1973 (Take Two) to The Very Best Of War. The Time-Life version is missing an opening drum tap that I hear on the Very Best Of.

Interesting. That opening drum tap is on the "Soul Hits of the 70s Vol. 10" CD.
Could be a Rhino thing (I think they packaged the War "Best Of" compilations). But now I'm curious as to whether the tap is on the 45.

Oh yes, it's on my original stereo UA stock 45.
