I had this 45 as a kid on WB green label and haven't heard it in years.. The version on CD seems to match it except for one thing. At the very end of the song, the drums end cold and you hear someone saying "alright man!" Have never heard that part on CD, unless it was faded out when the master was transferred. Not even sure if the original 45 was stereo or mono.

I have another 45 from The Faces. Their version of "Maybe I'm Amazed." On 45, it's mono and a studio version. On CD, only the live version is available.

Hmm this is odd -- I have this Warner Brothers 7545 green label single and it does not have the "alright man" ending. Are you sure your copy is a US pressing? My matrix number is PCA 5176S-1C.

Hi Pat, was just something stuck in my memory as a 12 year old back in 1971 WHEN I DID have the stock 45 single. Unfortunately, I don't own it now.

Appreciate the effort. :)

Bringing this one back, since I was a 'newbie' back in June, the song mentioning the "alright, man" was actually the mono 45 version of "Brown Sugar" from the Rolling Stones. Once I got a copy of that, realized my error.

Sorry for any confusion I may have created. Hey, even at 12 years old I remembered details, just had the song wrong! LOL.
