According to the database, CD appearances of Gladys Knight & The Pips' "It Should Have Been Me" run anywhere from 2:46-2:59 and there are currently no comments that lend clarification to this wide run time discrepency. Do we have any kind and knowledgable souls who can help provide actual 45 and LP run time information for this song?

I do not have the vinyl 45 but I do have the vinyl LP and the running time on the LP is (2:46) not (2:57) as stated on the record label.

Pat, I do happen to have a commercial 45 copy, confirmed as Soul 35045.
Deadwax starts with a machine-stamped "W4KM-3829-1 H", followed by a
handwritten, upside down "NSN-427-M07". It has a listed time of (2:59), but
an actual time of (2:56).
