Even though this didn't crack the top 40, I believe the song did chart at one point in the summer of '73. Anyone with the 45 version, can you give me a run time?
I may have located what I believe is the 45 version on an import collection called The Definitive Alice Cooper. It fades at about 2:58 or so. I know the LP version runs 3:43 or so and ends cold.

Looks like I've answered my own question, thanks to Google.
Found an image of the stock 45, and the time is 3:00 on the label. My guess...an early fade.

Oh, and the run time from Definitive is actually 3:00.
