Here are instruction for creating the 45 edit from the LP version. I started with the version on Rock On 1989 (Cema Special Markets S21-18695 ROK-2-1989, 1996), and times are based on that version.
Keep 0:00.0-0:02.5 of the LP version.
Edit on snare.
Keep 0:04.6-2:21.1 of the LP version.
Edit on snare.
Keep 2:26.2-4:19.2 of the LP version.
Put a 32-beat fade from 4:02.6-4:19.2 of LP version; fade starts at 3:56 after the edits are made.
Note that the LP runs 0.4% faster than the true 45. The 45 runs 114.8 BPM (at beginning) to 114.7 BPM (at end) while the LP version runs 115.2 BPM throughout. The times above are before any pitch correction is done.
