Although the database does not have a note about it, the song "School Boy Crush" by Average White Band appears to have a DJ edit. An online seller advertises a US promo 45 with the "short & long versions." It would make sense that a shorter edit is available, since a near 5-minute song was not commonly issued to radio in 1976.
Does anyone own this promo who can provide timing info?

I have obtained a promo copy of this 45 on Atlantic 45-3304. One side has the "Long Version" with a listed time of (4:52) but an actual time of (4:56). The other side has the "Short Version" with a listed time of (3:40) but an actual time of (3:45).

After doing some analysis of the DJ edit for "School Boy Crush," I discovered that my CD version from In Yo' Face contains less reverb than the promo 45. Would someone be able to check their stock copy to see if it also has reverb. The reverb appears from the beginning on the guitar and drums (much drier on the CD). Also, the 45's vocals are louder than the CD version.

Jim has informed me his commercial 45 copy of Average White Band's "School Boy Crush" has an actual time of 4:54. (The printed record label time is 4:52). I'm passing this along as a supplement to the database, which currently only shows DJ run time info for the song.
By the way, did anyone ever come up with an answer to Aaron's question above regarding whether the reverb on the promo 45 matches what's on the stock 45?
