Todd mentioned in another thread that the dj cd single for R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" states a running time of 4:46. Can anyone who has this cd single confirm that the actual running time is indeed 4:46 and if it is, would this be an edit or an early fade of the LP. I just got the vinyl 45 which states a running time of 4:46 but actually runs 4:57 and is just an early fade of the LP.

The version on TM Century's Gold Disc library runs 4:57. Most of the time (99%), they included the version on the promo single, which would lead me to believe that the printed time of 4:46 on the DJ CD is incorrect. However, not having the DJ single, I cannot confirm this.

I have obtained the dj cd single of "Everybody Hurts" and the running time stated on the cd single jacket is incorrect. The stated time is (4:46) but the actual running time is (4:56) and is just an early fade of the LP like the commercial 45.
