My promo CD single (CD 17645) has the following:
1-(7" Mix) (listed & actual 3:49)
2-(12" Vocal Mix) (listed & actual 3:49)
There are clearly "bonus beats" present within the :10 intro for Cut 2, which makes it very easy to distinguish from Cut 1, which was the one we played as a current, and is the only one I've ever heard on the radio. I just wanted to document here the existence of this "second official version", especially considering their similarity in timings.

I just wanted to add the following supplemental info to Jim's promo CD single comments... Commercial 45 copies of Annie Lennox & Al Green's "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" is 3:48. (Timing info courtesy of our tremendously helpful friend abagon. The printed record label time is 3:49.)
