My version of Hip-o's El Debarge   Ultimate collection includes the LP version of "All this love" which runs 5.52 and not the 45 version running 4.13 as noted in the Database. Could anybody having this CD check it? Thanks

My error here. Yes the track runs (5:52) and is the LP version.

In 1990, MCA finally re-issued DeBarge's 1982 album, All This Love, as an individual CD on Motown MOTD-5392; at that time, MCA also did the same w/ their 1983 follow-up album, In a Special Way, on Motown MOTD-5393 (note consecutive catalog nos.). Pat already has both of those CDs listed in the on-line database - the former under both of its top 40 hits, "I Like It" and the title track, while the latter is rightly found under its lone top 40 hit, "Time Will Reveal"...

However, the original U.S. CD release of both albums actually occurred under MCA in 1986 (four years earlier), when they were issued together as a 2-on-1. It's that version that's currently MISSING from the db; label & full catalog no. for All This Love/In a Special Way was Gordy GCDO8045GD. I don't have the CD myself, but because it was a fairly early CD, all copies I've seen to date were Japan-for-U.S. pressings. In fact, MCA chose to release many of Motown's classic albums as two-fers during that first round of catalog CD releases for the label back in 1986. As a result, just for kicks, I typed "Motown 804" (that last part representing the first three digits in the catalog no. that was assigned to the DeBarge CD) into Pat's db in the "LABEL" field, and clicked the "SEARCH" button. Here's what came up, which I've arranged in numerical order:

Motown 8040 and 8140 AL GREEN - Call Me/Livin' For You (2-on-1)
Motown 8041 and 8141 not shown
Motown 8042 and 8142 DIANA ROSS - Ain't No Mountain High Enough/Surrender (2-on-1)
Motown 8043 and 8143 MIRACLES - Time Out For/Special Occasion (2-on-1)
Motown 8044 and 8144 COMMODORES - Hot On The Tracks/In The Pocket (2-on-1)
Motown 8045 and 8145 not shown
Motown 8046 and 8146 FOUR TOPS - Keeper Of The Castle/Nature Planned It (2-on-1)
Motown 8047 and 8147 MARVIN GAYE & TAMMI TERRELL - You're All I Need/United (2-on-1) (listed twice)
Motown 8048 and 8148 AL GREEN - Al Green Is Love/Full Of Fire (2-on-1)
Motown 8049 and 8149 MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS - Heat Wave/Dance Party (2-on-1)

So Pat already has eight of the ten CDs that were numbered in the 8040s in the db. Doing my own research, it turns out that Motown 8041 was a 2-on-1 of SUPREMES - Merry Christmas/STEVIE WONDER - Someday At Christmas, neither of which had any top 40 hits, so it doesn't belong in the db anyway. And guess what??? That leaves only 8045, which we now know is the DeBarge CD. (I'll assume that like all the others, there was another issue of All This Love/In a Special Way w/ the "8145" no. as well.) There's currently one used copy of Gordy 8045 listed on eBay, and while the seller is located in the U.K., I can tell from the photo it's a Japan-for-U.S. pressing: DeBARGE - "All This Love"/"In a Special Way" (2-on-1) (U.S. CD) Here's another that was recently listed by a U.S. seller, but actually sold: DeBARGE - "All This Love"/"In a Special Way" (2-on-1) (U.S. CD) So Gordy 8045 will eventually need to be added under three songs: "I Like It" (1983), "All This Love" (also 1983), and "Time Will Reveal" (1984)...
