The two current database CDs that specify "45 version" for this song have run times of (3:34) and (3:40). My commercial 45 has a listed time of (3:41) and an actual time of (3:40), so choose the (3:40) Rhino CD over the (3:34) Ripete CD, if you'd like the correct 45 length on CD.

I thought I'd bump up this thread in case Jim's 45 run time info for Lou Rawls' "Lady Love" was inadvertently overlooked for inclusion in the database.

Todd, I thought we were all in agreement that if the listed time and the actual time were less than :03 different, it was not appropriate to mention the discrepency.

Yes, and I'm still in agreement with that rule, Pat. But I didn't mean to imply that the database should note the marginal :01 difference between the actual vs. printed 45 run time. I was thinking that the song's actual 45 run time of 3:40 should be noted (which you've now entered in the database) because it would be helpful for subscribers interested in seeking the correct 45 length on CD since the two 45 version appearances run 3:40 and 3:34, respectively, as Jim had pointed out. Sorry, I should've made myself more clear about this.
