my cassingle issued as rca 62614 contains the two tracks "right here/human nature" and "downtown".....side 1 has "downtown" with a listed version of the "radio edit" with a listed run time of 4:28 (actual 4:28)....the A-side of the cassingle has the song "right here/human nature" with a listed version as "human nature radio mix" with a listed run time of 3:46 (actual 3:46).....it's a little odd to have a side 1 AND an A side......billboard magazine listed "right here/human nature" as the a-side and "downtown" as the b-side.....this isn't truely correct.....see the attached scans....this info should be added to the db...

I think in those days, Billboard listed the higher airplay performer first, regardless of A/B designation. As far as I remember, "Downtown" didn't get much CHR airplay; it was more of an urban crossover single.
I have the vinyl single in storage. To the best of my recollection, Right Here was side A and Downtown was side B - but I'd need to check.
On another note, when I was about 4 years old, that A/1 trick blew my mind. I couldn't decide which side of Hall & Oates' "Private Eyes" album to play first -- it had sides A and 1.
