i know we reviewed this song in one other thred but i what to disect this a little further......i understand that there was NO 2 track commercial cassingle issued for this song...i have the commercial cd maxi single which contains the below 6 tracks....the warner 43809 label was the one listed in billboard at the time as the single version...

warner 43809

1-miami mix alternate ending
2-miami spanglish mix
3-miami mix edit
4-miami dub mix
5-miami mix instrumental version
6-miami spanglish mix edit

i also had a promo cd single for this song with the ballad version on it and it was terrific.....

question is....which version was played most on the radio back during the period....i just listened to the disco "miami mix edit", and i don't ever remember hearing that version on the radio......need help here guys...

I don't recall ever hearing the ballad version on the radio... all I remember is the Miami Mix Edit.

At the time of this song's release, I was getting my current music from RPM Top Hits. They issued the Miami Mix Edit.

Ed:

The "Miami Mix Edit" is the version I always heard on my local Top 40 stations. It's also the version that was issued on my Promo Only: Mainstream Radio CD subscription series.

Miami Mix Edit here too. The only time I ever recall hearing the ballad version on the radio was the week it debuted on "Casey's Top 40" (they switched to the Miami Mix Edit for the rest of the song's chart run).
