Just got in a nice, clean DJ copy of "When It's Love" from Van Halen. It's an edit, listed time is 4:32, actual is 4:34.
I don't think the DJ edit can be recreated from the LP, as the guitar that opens the song on the edit runs longer that the guitar within the open of the LP version, if that makes sense.

Regarding "When It's Love", the database presently states: (dj copies of this 45 run (4:34) and (5:36)). I just wanted to add that the commercial 45 runs 5:37. (Timing info courtesy of abagon. The printed record label time is 5:36.)

Is the remix available ANYWHERE on CD, import or something?
I'm trying to re-create it from the LP version & you're right... that guitar ramp-up is longer, I remember how it sounded on the radio & this ain't it!
