It appears that you can't create the edit from the album version. There are mix differences, including a high-pitched guitar line in the break that's completely eliminated from the edit. I listened carefully, and it appears that there isn't any swearing in the edit. (Joke... you won't find anything evil if you play the Amy Grant records backwards, either...)

I have the album version on Realm's No. 1 Hit Mix, where it runs 4:33.

I have the edit on Hot Hits Vol. 16, where it runs 4:02.

Interesting, the video on Yahoo runs 4:02 and does contain the guitar.

There was also an AC Mix of this song, perhaps, Ron, that's the version that omits the guitar?

Hi

I do recall on this one the top 40 station played the edit with guitar solo, the "lite" station played the AC mix with no guitar...if that helps.

Our MCA compilation promos at CHNR had the CHR mix - the edit with guitar, and the AC Mix - the edit without guitar.
