Thanks to abagon for passing along that the actual commercial 45 run time of Erasure's "A Little Respect" is 3:29, not 3:33 as printed on the record label. The 45 label also states "LP Version". At present, the database indicates that commercial copies all run 3:33, but this length is likely based on the printed label time.

One more thing... It should probably also be noted in the database that the LP run time is 3:33.

I thought I'd bring up again for database purposes that the LP run time for Erasure's "A Little Respect" is 3:33.

FYI, MusicGiants and Amazon have the out-of-print Erasure CD singles box sets (Called Erasure 1, 2, 3, and 4) for sale, purchasable by track. Strangely, iTunes does have them at all. These sets have rare remixes and B-sides, etc.
Don't know why, but Amazon lists the "Chains of Love" 7" Remix as running 3:43, several seconds longer than the database does. Both Napster and MusicGiants list it as running 3:47.

I purchased the track, and turns out both were incorrect. It runs an actual 3:40.

There was a promo CD single release for Erasure's "A Little Respect" on Sire/Reprise PRO-CD 3252 containing the following track listing and printed run times:
1) LP Version - 3:33
2) Remix/Edit - 3:55 [this specific mix is also on the promo vinyl 45 B-side]
3) 12" Vocal - 6:27
4) 12" Remix - 6:35
If anyone has this disc who would be willing to report the actual run times for each track, it would be much appreciated.
Also, I can confirm through my research that the Lost Mixes - Extended Ecstasy various artists CD (JCI 3117) contains the 12" Remix of "A Little Respect". (The database currently lists a generic "remix" comment next to this entry.)

Hmmm...that's interesting. The A-side of the commercial 45 in Canada had this version on it. In most cases Canadian 45s were the same as US 45s so it's odd to see an example like this.

Am I understanding correctly that the LP version is 3:33 in length and the single version is 3:29 to 3:30 in length?
Is the single version just a slightly earlier fade?
