Dug out my sketchy notes for creating the 45 edit, based
on the timing for Rock On 1989:

Keep 0:00.0-0:02.5 of the LP version.
Keep 0:04.6-2:21.1 of the LP version.
Keep 2:26.2-4:19.2 of the LP version with a 32-beat
sinusoidal fade from 4:02.6-4:19.2.

The fade starts at 3:56 in the mixdown, edits are all on
the snare. The true 45 runs 114.8-114.7 BPM, while LP
version runs a bit faster at 115.2 BPM, so slow your
mixdown down by about 0.3%.

Not my finest effort with these instructions, but it'll
do in a pinch.

I just found the 45, and it runs at the exact, same pitch
as the album version on CD. In other words, they match.
I suggest you do not slow your recreation down at all.
