Although not in the database, this song peaked at #36 in BB, in 4/76. I own two different commercial 45's for this song, both confirmed as Casablanca 844. The more common 45 is a listed (3:47), actual (3:46) stereo 45, states "Side A", and has deadwax info of "NB-844-BS". This 45 version is the one included on the Varese V/A CD, "Barry Scott Presents The Lost 45s Of The 70's & 80's, Volume Two". I have just acquired another commercial 45 for this song. Both "We Can't..." and its flip side, "Can't Get You Off My Mind", state "MONO" in bold print on the 45 label, and they indeed are. Also, on this copy, "We Can't..." says it is "Side B" on the label. I was also surprised to discover that this second, mono 45 features an entirely different vocal take for "We Can't..." than both my stereo 45/CD versions features. Deadwax for this rarer 1976 45 version is "NB-844-B-M-1".
