Our commercial copy of "Dry Your Eyes" by Brenda & The Tabulations (Dionn 500) states a time of (2:30), but actually runs (2:41).

There are several stereo CD appearances of "Dry Your Eyes" that run 2:48, which is :07 longer than the mono 45. Can anyone who might have the Brenda & the Tabulations Dry Your Eyes parent vinyl LP from 1968 please verify if it features the longer stereo length?

Todd:
If the mono 45 runs 2:41 as stated by Paul above, the 2:30 time listed on the label is way off and cds more than likely resemble something close to what the 45 features, by being just 3 seconds off -- shorter, not longer.
I'd be curious to know if there was a speed issue involved, but I can't even seem to locate any of my copies of the 45 which I know I've picked up a couple of times over the years.

Todd, I'm a little confused on this post as well. Perhaps you meant to say the stereo appearances run 2:48 (which would be :07 longer than the mono 45) instead of 2:38???

Yes, I meant 2:48. I went back and corrected my typo.

Okay, gotcha...typos happen a lot with timings -- I know I have to triple check every timing I put just to make sure I get it right. Unfortunately I don't have the album to help with a timing on the track there. I've never been big into album collecting for some reason.
