my commercial cd single of the spice girls song "spice up your life" issued as virgin 38620 states the first track as the "stent radio mix" with a listed run time of 2:53 but actually runs 2:52 which happens to match the full length cd/lp version but i don't have the full length cd to compare.....anyone know if there is a difference??

Ed, I think there are mix differences between the two, but I also don't have the full-length CD to compare.

Never noticed a difference between the album version and
the Stent Radio Mix.

I always assumed that both "Spice Up Your Life" and
"Wannabe" --lead singles preceding their respective albums-
- did originally have different album versions that were
replaced at the last minute by the single masters.
Speculation of course.

You're probably right, Dub.

We got in two different promo CD singles for this song, and here are the particulars:

Spice Girls-"Spice Up Your Life" (DPRO-12755)
1-Stent Radio Mix (listed & actual 2:53)
2-Morales Radio Mix (listed & actual 2:48)
3 & 4-Call out research hooks #1 & #2

Spice Girls-"Spice Up Your Life" (no stock #, but it is on an offically-produced Virgin gold CD-R)
1-Spike Edit (listed & actual 2:52)
