my commercial cassingle of the song "summer rain" by belinda carlsle issued as mca 53783 does not state a version on the sleeve or cassette but is an edit of the full length 5:26 version listed below and runs 4:10...this cassingle info s/b added to the db....

(S) (5:26) MCA 6639 Runaway Horses (LP version)

BTW, the recent Icon CD release for Belinda includes the 45
version of this song (first time on a domestic release).

I just picked up the new Belinda Carlisle CD Singles box set (29 discs!).

There is a version of "Summer Rain" on here called "Justin Strauss Radio Edit" and I'd assumed it would be the first track taken from the above promo (CD4518171) but it runs 5:43... much longer than the 4:12 actual time mentioned by Smokin' TomGary.

I guess this is a new, longer edit from the MCA or Virgin UK vaults.
