my commercial cassingle of the song "sukiyaki" by 4 p.m. (for positive music) issued as next plateau 857736 states the version on the cassingle as the "lover's groove radio mix" (2:42) but it is identical to the full length cd version from the cd "now's the time"

While the "Lover's Groove Radio Mix" should be regarded as the single/album version of "Sukiyaki", I thought I'd point out that the cassette single also consists of the "Flowin' At Cha Radio Mix" which runs 2:41 and is the same mix as the single/album version except there is a percussion track dubbed in from 1:04-2:21. I remember hearing this version on the radio and thus I'd be willing to bet it was also issued on a promo CD single.
That said, does anyone have a promo single of 4 P.M.'s "Sukiyaki" who can pass along the track listing and run time info?

Thanks, mainrhythm!
Again, since the "Flowin' at Cha Radio Mix" did receive some radio airplay, I'm of the opinion that the database should probably note this version on the promo CD single (and perhaps even on the cassette single as well).

Does anyone else recall hearing/playing the "Flowin' at Cha Radio Mix" of 4 P.M.'s "Sukiyaki" on Top 40 radio, or did the single version (a.k.a. the "Lover's Groove Radio Mix") get all the spins?

Todd,
from what i recall in my area, i recall hearing the
"flowin at cha" mix maybe once or twice on a/c, but the
lion's share of airplay was the "lover's groove".

Thanks for your input, Mark.
I'm pretty certain I usually heard the percussion track from the "Flowin' at Cha Radio Mix" on my local stations when I lived in Tacoma, WA at the time.

Does anyone know if there were any mixes of
this song without the spoken part? I keep
thinking I heard one years ago.
