My commercial 45 (confirmed as OKeh 7191, is styrene, with machine-stamped deadwax of "ZSP-77193-1A") has no listed time and an actual time of (2:30). Unfortunately, all three of the current database CDs including this song run shorter, at either (2:23) or (2:25).

Doing some research on this track, and wouldn't you know it, our friend who
will be dearly missed from this board once again had provided his valuable
input regarding a 45 timing.
Does anyone else have a 45 for this track? The 45 length is not currently
on CD. I found one on YouTube that runs longer than 2:30 - it runs quite a
bit slower than the version I have from "The Best of Major Lance: Everybody
Loves a Good Time", so perhaps there is a speed issue with this track (45
vs. LP, CD era issue, ...).

David, I have a mid-'70s pressing Epic Memory Lane 2242 reissue 45, which states a time of (2:35), but matches Jim's Okeh 45's actual (2:30) timing. The YouTube clip runs at a noticeably slower speed.
Will send you a dub for scientific comparison and related lab tests.
