My commercial 45 (confirmed as Gordy 7032, with machine-stamped deadwax of "R4KM-6277-1 E", followed by a handwritten "W-079220") has a listed time of (2:52) and an actual time of (2:50). I only post this info because the three different actual times that seem to pop up among the current database CDs featuring this song are (2:54), (2:51) and (2:45). The (2:45) timing comes from the 1964 "Complete Motown Singles" Box. I suspect, as Berry Gordy would often do at the time, that this shorter time reflects either a promo 45's info (which I don't happen to own yet), or a second 1964 commercial 45 issue. I will look into this as time allows, and if anyone else can shed any light here, many thanks!
